a technological glass surface

Born from a collaboration between Renault and Saint-Gobain, the solarbay® uses the complete AmpliSky® electronic system from Saint-Gobain Sekurit. The technology is based on a PDLC film placed between two glass plates, which, once powered by an electric current, changes the orientation of the liquid crystals. This design increases the roof clearance by 30 millimeters, thus improving the aerodynamics of Renault Symbioz E-Tech full hybrid, thus helping to increase its autonomy.
