HOW TO CHARGE AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE

It's easy to charge a 100% electric and plug-in hybrid Jaguar.

Familiarize yourself with the simple steps to charging your 100% electric vehicle or PHEV whether you're at home or on the go.

CHARGING CONNECTOR TYPES

Jaguar 100% electric and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicles use a Combined Charging System (CCS) that supports both AC and DC charging.

CHARGING WITH ALTERNATING CURRENT (AC)

The upper part of the vehicle charging socket is used for AC charging. This connector is called a type 2 connector and is compatible with your home charging station, public AC charging stations and household outlets.

FAST CHARGING IN DIRECT CURRENT (DC)

The bottom half of the vehicle charging socket has two pins that combine with three pins above to provide fast DC charging into the battery. The bottom two pins are accessible by removing the bottom intake cover from the intake.
